43rd edition Sport Horse Auction Dronten very successful
Veiling Dronten looks back on a good 43rd edition of the Sport Horse Auction. Because of all measures regarding Covid-19, the organization of Veiling Dronten decided to hold a full online auction for the first time.
The auction was followed from all over the world. Five horses have been sold to the United States and one horse is going to France.
Thanks to the possibility to ride the horses in the weeks before the auction, many riders know the quality of the horses and registered to buy there favourite one!
The most expensive horse of the auction was Mister Rossi, son of Zapatero VDL x Douglas. He was sold for € 27,000 and is moving to the stables of Schuttert Sporthorses.
Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest son Klaasgow was sold for € 24,000 and will also remain in the Netherlands.
Mill Fame van de Suydersee (Famous x Dutch Capitol) will also get a nice place in the Netherlands, he will go to international eventing rider Merel Blom.
The most expensive three-year-old was Goldy, a son of Stakkato Gold x Calato. He raised € 16,000.
The dressage horse of the auction, the pinto Jerveaux x Sandreo gelding Nandor, changed hands for € 11,000.
